It's time to give those hardworking wrists a break! Join Val in getting off your wrists, and working on your forearms instead. Focus on stretching and strengthening the shoulders and core muscles, and explore variations of poses that are typically done on the hands. You'll learn how to safely get into arm balances and backbends like Crow, Firefly, Wild Thing, Wheel and Rooster... on your forearms! Val will also teach you how to shift more weight into the shoulders in order to prevent excessive weight-bearing on the wrists in your own practice. The session will close with restorative and relaxing shoulder stretches.
